Long Island family visit!

Noah and his new best friend/favorite cousin Riahanna

Our Long Island visit was the last destination on the Regan road trip! This was Noah's first time meeting his cousin Riahanna (Noah pronounced her name Ba-nan-na) and they were sooo cute together! Riahanna was a little cold at first to Noah but shortly warmed up to his craziness. It was great to have a little buddy for Noah because they kept themselves entertained. We went to the beach, visited with family, and once again ate a ton!

My mom and dad grew up in Massapequa, NY (which is where my uncle lives) and it is so funny to see them go "home." My dad ALWAYS drives us around to see all his friends houses, his house, my mom's house (literally everytime we are there haha)

This particular Massapequa trip hit close to home because it was the first time I've ever been to visit my granny's gravestone. My mom's mom lived with us at my house until she passed when i was in 2nd grade. I was incredibly close with her and still to this day miss her beyond what words can describe. I catch myself crying sometimes wishing that she could have been around to meet Noah, because I know how much she would have loved him! I know it sounds weird to say but when we were standing in front of the stone, I could feel her presence and ached to just see her and hug her! We brought Noah with us ( It was my way of introducing him to granny) and when he saw me crying he looked at me and said "mommy, don't cry....mommy so sad." As much as i always try to keep a brave face in front of Noah I couldn't compose myself this time, writing this is even hard for me to do with out breaking down.

So besides a moment of sadness our trip was amazing! It's always nice to catch up with family you don't see all the time! It was definitely hard going back to work on Tuesday! So thanks to everyone who made our trip amazing! we love you all!
