bruises, counting, and demands

We had our first big fall, of many big falls. Noah was playing with his favorite little neighbor Maddie this past weekend and she had just come home from her Volleyball game, which meant there was a big pink volleyball to play with. The ball rolled down the driveway and when Noah went to go chase after it..CAPLAAT he went down. I'll admittedly say that i was freaking out, his face was scratched up and when i went to pick him up he had a mouthful of blood. Rest assured my mom and dad were there to talk me through it. I ran in the house with Noah and my dad saw that he was bleeding and while i was cleaning up his mouth my dad got Noah a Popsicle and my mom calmed me down by letting me know it is completely normal for his mouth to be bleeding a lot. I know this is the first of many many cuts and bruises but it was just awful having to see him in so much pain!
Noah's scraped up face
That's one fat lip!

On a lighter note. Noah has learned to count to 4!! My brother likes to play rough with Noah and throw him on the couch and right before he throws him he always counts to 3! After a while before my brother would throw him Noah would count 1....2....3....I was shocked! Now all we do is count everything to him! Louie helped him get to 4. He continues to shock me and surprise me everyday with how smart he is!

Noah's also learned his new favorite word which just so happens to be "NO" ay ay yi he is very opinionated! Anything i ask him he literally either says "no" or "yes" most of the time it's "no" though! haha He also likes to back seat drive..it's so funny! Every time i have to stop at a red light he gets very annoyed and yells at me to "Go Go Go!!" i tell you he is very demanding for a little 18 month year old!
Ending the blog with a happy picture of my sweet baby
