This was one of the most fun weekends ever! My mom's cousin Carol (which to be clear is my second cousin but i call her Aunt Carol whose husband is Larry and has a daughter named Kay who would be my 3rd cousin...confusing? not to worry we think so too..) came into town this past weekend and we had a blast! the reason why i make the confusing statement is because every time we see each other we can never remember if we are second, third, first cousin's half removed..you catch my drift...we finally figured out though that Carol is my second cousin and her daughter Kay is my third cousin (yes we are smart!) i digress...After we figured out all that cousin nonsense we started the party (at 11 am on a Friday morning might i add...i on the other hand could not start partying til after 3...due to the fact that i was slaving away at work..poor me i know) Margaritas were served, Firefly's were being consumed (not to worry firefly is a drink..and Larry's new nickname..) and food was definitely eaten. Of course we gave the wonderful Blieka family (Carol, Larry, and Kay just to be clear) the tour of Chicago with a wonderful boat tour, got them some deep dish Chicago style pizza at Gino's East Pizzeria, and we couldn't ever think to deprive them of Portillos! Games of LCR were played (Carol and my Masha won! haha) Drunken sayings were said such as...

"what's your last name DimmiKuya?" (my friends last name is actually Dimmiyuga.)

"Fasha thats the word for father in the Philippines" (which if u must really know fasha is the word for father according to Austin Powers"

Flipping was considered a frequent vocabulary word (translation-Flipping: posing for the flip camera, video taping) Flipping is most certainly my Aunt Carol's (remember she's really my second cousin) favorite thing to do!

I'm so sad that they were only here for such a short amount of time but not to worry they are coming back in November for more Flipping, Firefly's, and Margarita's!
